Ground Jack

The Hospital Systems, Inc. Ground Jack is widely used in hospitals, particularly in electrically susceptible patient locations, such as surgeries and wet locations, to assure that all conductive surfaces within reach of the patient [or anyone who may touch the patient] are at a common electrical potential.

Ground Jacks are permanently mounted on the wall and can be ganged to accommodate grounding cords from metal furniture, building surfaces and other exposed metal surfaces.

The Ground Jack is constructed of green molded phenolic with a solid, machined, one-piece brass internal contact.  A mating Ground Cord is connected with a twist-to-lock spring loaded configuration.  The size and shape of the locking configuration is according to NFPA criteria.

Ground Jacks are rated at 30A.
