The ICU/CCU Isolated Power Centers are designed to provide isolated 120 or 220 volt power outlets and ground receptacles in intensive and coronary care areas. This IPC can also be used in a variety of critical care and recovery areas. The Isolated Power Center includes eight electrical outlets, eight ground receptacles, an isolation transformer, a primary and eight secondary circuit breakers, a Line Isolation Monitor and an equipotential ground bus. The Isolated Power Centers are available for vertical or horizontal mounting.
Isolation transformers are of low leakage shielded plate design, available in 3, 5, and 7.5 kVA ratings. At full load, the entire system noise level does not exceed 25 dB and the temperature of the front cover is limited to a maximum of 15°C above an ambient of 25°C.
Circuit breakers are 10,000 AIC rated, with a trip level not to exceed 5mA. When typically equipped, the Isolated Power Center includes one main and eight two pole secondary circuit breakers.
A high-quality, high-reliability Line Isolation Monitor incorporates dynamic, non-switching circuitry, a micro ammeter, indicator lights, audible device with silencing switch, test switch, and terminals for a remote alarm indicator.
The Isolated Power Center front trim is constructed from type 304 stainless steel with a #4 brushed finish. The backbox is fabricated from code-grade steel, finished with durable baked enamel.
